The Summit Tennis Club was founded in 1908 by a small
group of local residents, who shared a single court . Since then it has grown to a membership of about 300 people and currently offers 7 HarTru tennis courts and 2 lighted platform tennis courts. It is a family club known for it's excellent tennis.
Activities include membership participation in tennis and paddle leagues, professional coaching services, social events, and youth programs.
The size of the membership, reasonable play rules, informal atmosphere, and the excellent maintenance of the courts, has made it possible to provide a pleasurable tennis and paddle sport experience for the members.
The club is located in a secluded neighborhood at 45
Sunset Drive, in Summit, New Jersey, and is open to play for members and their invited guests. The club hours are:

Mon - Fri - 8AM to dusk; 9AM to 10PM
Sat. - 8:30 AM to dusk; 9AM to 10PM
Sun.- 8:30AM to dusk; 9AM to 6PM
Guest fees - $5, weekends, holidays, after 5 PM - $7
